Port Elizabeth Rifle and Pistol Club PO Box 2771 P.E. 6056 Tel.: 041 360 2063 After Hours Club Secretary: Lew Williams South Africa's oldest shooting club. Situated at Denver Quarry in Greenbushes, it caters for Practical Pistol, casual non-competitive shooters, Metallic Silhouette, and rifle shooters. A complex of 11 ranges include a 500 metre rifle range as well as small to medium handgun ranges. Membership is R250.00 per annum. |
GAUTENG
The finest private shooting club in the country! Established in 1975, and is today the home of the Southern Gauteng Sports Shooting Association. Alberton has always been the main range for UIT shottists in Southern Gauteng. Alberton SSC has been responsible for introducing a number of NPA "events" to this country that have proved to be extremely popular. |

Our rifle range is situated in a game camp. Rifle stations over shooting tables are available at 25, 100, 200, 300 & 400metres @ R40.00 a day for non members and R20 a day for members of SA Hunters. The 300m rifle range, situated near Elandsrand Gold Mine hosts members from the West Rand, Vaal triangle, Potchefstroom and Klerksdorp. The club offers the CHASA exams which are necessary when applying for bona fide hunter status. Membership is R130.00 per annum. |
